Who & Why

Thanks for taking time to check out Ancient Antics! My name is Hannah and I am the creator of this project. I am a graphic designer, illustrator and hand letterer. In college, I majored in anthropology and fell in love with cultures and cultural history. I’ve also wanted to be Indiana Jones ever since I can remember.
This project came about when I was trying to think of a way to combine things I love (illustration, hand lettering, humor and history) to create a project that I could do on the side. I wanted to create something I would have fun with and that would allow me to practice drawing.

My hope is that by making these illustrations humorous and unique, they will be memorable and make learning fun. It isn’t hard to make a lot of these facts interesting though. If you enjoy this project, please share with your family and friends. Let’s learn about our weird roots!
